After bleaching session, you should observe the following:
1- Avoid any food/drink that causes coloring for a week (example: coffee, Pepsi, ketchup, sauces, etc. ).
Even toothpaste should be plain white
2- When you get the result, the Doctor’s role ends, and your task begins to maintain it.
3- Clean the teeth properly and after each meal.
4- Wash teeth well after drinking any juice or drinks that contains coffee or cocoa or pomegranate.
5- Smoking or sheesha diminishes the result faster.
As the white thoub is easy to get stained, same is the case with the whitened teeth unless they be taken care of .
And please note the following points
1- Whitening is not a coating or a layer placed on the teeth
2- No Grinding or rubbing or depigmentation but just changing the color of the cleaned teeth.
After bleaching session, you should observe the following:
1. After debonding and scaling, be careful to use oral rinses or water and salt for 3-4 days at a rate of 4 times a day until the gums return to their normal state and the symptoms of gingivitis disappear if present. Consequently, you prevent any discomfort that may occur at scaling done after the removal of orthodontic appliances.
2. Retainers should be used carefully, and their instructions should be strictly followed, since all the fatigue and efforts and all the results achieved by now depend on the correct use of retainers.
3. Removable retainers should be used all day (24 hours /day) as a first step, and you can only remove it during meals (use during sleep, school, etc.). You will feel mild discomfort for around two hours due to the presence of this strange object in the mouth, which increase saliva abundance and /or difficulty of uttering some words.
4. Anyway, this feeling will disappear soon in few days, and things will go back to normal.
5. When you finish your meals, you must clean your teeth thoroughly and properly, and clean the orthodontic appliances with brush and toothpaste.
6. Your good commitment to putting –in the retainer helps shortening the duration of this stage and moving on quickly to the next stage of putting it in 14 hours a day. When any emergency order prevents you from putting-in the appliances, rush to the clinic to fix the problem, otherwise, failure of putting-in the retainer will lead to movement of teeth relapsing to its pre-treatment situation, and the clinic will not be responsible of that.
7. Permanent retainer (fixed on your teeth) gives you the feeling of strange object in the mouth. This may last for several days before you get used to it.
8. Make sure to use the toothbrush normally in the area where the retainer is fixed and ensure that the retainer is cleaned well.
be careful not to use toothpick since it causes the retainer to break immediately
9. If the adhesive breaks anywhere, visit the clinic for re-fixing, otherwise the teeth will move, and the clinic will not be responsible of that.
10. Please, do not hesitate to ask us about anything not mentioned in these instructions
1. In case of bleeding after tooth extraction, bite on a cotton or gauze pad that you keep changing for one hour minimum.
2. After surgery, repeat putting (for 5 minutes) and removing (for 10 minutes) face ice packs for one hour minimum. Pain can peak after 48-72 hours. If after 72 hours you are still experiencing muscle soreness, apply heat (towel soaked in hot water) and keep moving your jaw.
3. For normal tooth extraction, rinse your mouth using warm salt water after 24 hours (no strong antiseptic rinses), while in the case of surgery, you can start rinsing a day after, by using warm salt water or mouthwash (stick to the doctor’s advice).
4. In case of tooth extraction, continue with normal brushing, but go gently around the surgical site. Don’t brush the bone grafted area for the first three weeks.
5. Avoid alcohol, smoking & drinking through a straw since this can delay healing/ cause infection.
6. Avoid any physical activity that can induce pressure on the socket (in case of tooth extraction) or on suture (for 3-5 days in case of surgery).
7. It is recommended not to eat for 2-3 hours after extraction/surgery. Eat only soft food, not hot or spicy, in the day of extraction.
8. Stay on liquid diet as long as your mouth is numbed. Then, avoid chewing in the bone grafted area for one month refraining from sticky, hard or sharp foods.
9. Be careful not to bite the numbed area, and in case of a child, parents should pay attention.
10. Commit to take medications prescribed by your doctor and to follow his instructions.
• You should bite on the piece of gauze placed by the doctor for an hour.
• Put ice pad on the cheek in place of operation for a quarter of an hour alternately for two hours.
• Avoid eating until anesthesia disappears.

Swelling after dental implants is expected, swelling can be reduced by using ice packs and placing them on the cheek in the implant area. within the first 48 hours after dental implants to reduce swelling.

Oral hygiene:
To be properly cured after dental implants, oral hygiene should be maintained. Clean teeth as usual Use the mouthwash prescribed by the doctor twice a day, as well as rinse with warm water and salt 4 to 5 times a day (preferably after each meal).
Finally .. Important tips after the installation of teeth over implants:
